The countywide roll-out of knife bins is underway. Following the success of a bin in Harrogate, 20 more bins are being sited in Ripon, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge, Northallerton, Stokesley, Thirsk, Tadcaster, Selby, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Whitby, Colburn, Richmond, Skipton and York. Once registered you will be issued with a pass to display in your vehicle windscreen. Litter Pick

Colburn Clean up crew will be out again at the weekend.  Please help them out and keep the area around your property clean and tidy it really helps a lot.  Also please do not let your dogs into the MUGA in the Piper hill play area, it is for games and strictly no dogs are allowed in there.  In recent weeks we have had many complaints about dog mess being left in there and children play in there.  So please do not let your dogs in the parks or the MUGA thank you.   ...

The Mayor was asked if she would like to help out at the Christmas fayre at Colburn School and she was delighted to attend.  The fayre was very well supported by parents and local people and lots of money raised for the Friends of School  who raise money for trips etc.  Well done Colburn School.
